Over 50's Curling Tour in Scotland
The Caledonian Tour currently comprises of 3 curling events, namely: -
The Forfar Curling Fest: 3rd to 5th November, 2017
The Edinburgh Seniors International: 16th to 19th November, 2017
The Dumfries Hardie Senior Open: 1st to 3rd December, 2017
The TCT is Sponsored by Hardie Engineering, Ferguson Oliver Wealth Management and Murrayfield Curling with £1,000 first place prize plus Runner-Up prizes.
Dumfries Seniors
Many congratulations to Team Kesley who fought their way through to the final of the Dumfries Seniors in style capturing many notable scalps along the way.
In the final Team Kesley played Team (Rab) Clark and the ladies were pretty much in control for most of the game with some excellent shot making.
A big thank you to all the rinks who have supported The Caledonian Tour in it's first season.
The Edinburgh Seniors International: 17th to 19th November, 2017
The Edinburgh Seniors International was held from 17th to 19th November, 2017 at Murrayfield Curling Rink.
With 16 mens teams and 10 ladies teams the competition was played in 4 Schenkel sections.
The mens semi-finals were Team Harvey v Team Muirhead and Team Stark v Team Baird with the local Edinburgh rinks of Team Harvey & Team Baird making it through to the final mens game.
Team Harvey dominated the final winning 8-0 and lifting the trophy.
In the Ladies section the semi finals were between Team Lockhart v Team Robertson and Team Semple v Team Watt.
The final game was played between Team Lockhart and Team Watt with Team Lockhart winning through 5-3.

The Forfar Curl Fest: 3rd to 5th November, 2017.
The SCT Forfar Curl Fest was held on 3rd to 5th November with 12 teams competiting in 2 Schenkel sections of 6 each.
Teams comprised of seniors, mens and ladies rinks making for a very competitive yet friendly competition.
Good quality ice made for some excellent shot making and close results.
The semi-finals emerged with Team Dick playing Team Prentice in an all senior semi and Team Barr playing Team Fawns in an all men's semi. Team Dick & Team Barr moved on to the final where Team Barr took control early into the game to lift the SCT Forfar Curl Fest title, trophy and prize money.
